Seventh President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) attended the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration at the Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Training Centre in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java. In addition to Jokowi, the 10th and 12th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, also attended the event. Jokowi was seen wearing a navy blue suit, seated next to Sinta Nuriyah Wahid, the wife of the fourth President of Indonesia, Abdurrahman Wahid. Several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet were also present at the ceremony, including Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia. Alongside the ministers, Speaker of the House of Representatives Puan Maharani, Speaker of the Regional Representative Council Sultan Bahtiar Najamuddin, and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Sunarto were also in attendance. The Indonesian National Police held the 80th Bhayangkara Day commemoration at the Brimob Training Centre. President Prabowo Subianto presided over the ceremony as Inspector of Ceremony. Head of the Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir, confirmed President Prabowo’s role and noted that Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and all ministries, agencies, and stakeholders were present. This year’s Bhayangkara Day carried the theme ‘80 Years of Police Service to the Community’. Isir stated that the location demonstrated the police’s commitment to always being present within the community. The celebration involved roughly 9,000 participants, comprising personnel from the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and various community elements.
