Joint task force uncovers nine cannabis fields in North Aceh

A joint task force comprising the Lhokseumawe Police, the National Narcotics Agency (BNN), and Customs and Excise officers has uncovered nine new cannabis fields in the hills of Teupin Reusep Village, Sawang District, North Aceh. The operation, conducted on Thursday, resulted in the discovery and subsequent destruction of 17,000 cannabis plants across a total area of four hectares. Authorities have identified two individuals suspected of owning the illicit plantations and have placed them on the wanted list (DPO) as the investigation continues.
