Joint Task Force Raids Nightlife Venues in Indramayu, Patrons Subjected to Urine Tests

Joint officers from the Indramayu Police, Kodim 0616/Indramayu, and the Indramayu Regency Satpol PP conducted patrols across several nightlife venues from Saturday (1/8/2026) night until early Sunday (2/8/2026) morning. Officers also performed urine tests on visitors to anticipate drug use.

Indramayu Police Chief, AKBP Prianggo PM, through the Head of Public Relations for Indramayu Police, AKP Tarno, explained that this joint KRYD patrol is a tangible manifestation of the synergy between the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and the Indramayu Regency Satpol PP in maintaining public security and order (kamtibmas). “This patrol targets nightlife venues as a preventive measure to forestall various potential disturbances to public order, ranging from criminal acts, drug abuse, and possession of sharp weapons to thuggery and other forms of legal violations,” said Tarno on Sunday (2/8/2026).

Tarno revealed that the patrols conducted by the joint apparatus in crowded areas are expected to provide a sense of security to the wider community while providing a deterrent effect for lawbreakers. “This synergy is expected to realise an Indramayu Regency that is safe, conducive, and free from various potential disturbances to public order,” he added.

Tarno also reminded the public to report immediately if they find potential disturbances to public order, emergencies, or suspicious activities in their surroundings.
