Allow us to inform readers that the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) has never appointed any institution to act as an IBRA executive team of joint advertisements for whatever reason.
Recently many members of the broad community, particularly businessmen, have learned of the circulation of a letter of proposal for joint advertisements made by PT Aristik Citra Nuansa, with Christian as the coordinator, and the executive team of joint advertisements, with H. Soebroto SE as the coordinator. It is very likely that letters will be sent to all companies under the control of IBRA. The advertisement is reportedly to be published in Media Indonesia between Dec. 8, 2000 and Jan. 26, 2001.
Although the letter is an offer to participate as a sponsor of a joint advertisement, IBRA herewith would like to call on all parties not to respond to the request/offer from the two institutions referred to above, which are acting as though they represent IBRA. IBRA will not assume responsibility for this matter. In order that the business circle is not harmed, we hope other media will disseminate this information to avoid any dispute that could arise.
