Johny unlikely for 14th PON

JAKARTA (JP): National motocross champion Johny Pranata may
fail to make an appearance at the 14th National Games (PON)
exhibition races on Sept. 14. He broke his wrist in a fall at the
Gudang Garam championships in Muara Enim, South Sumatra on
Saturday.

Deputy chief of the committee, Helmy Sungkar, said that Johny
fell off his motorcycle when he tried to pass a table-top. The
country's leading rider will receive medical treatment in
Surakarta, Central Java, Helmy added.

"Johny's presence at PON will depend on the progress he makes
following the medical treatment," Helmy said.

Motocross will make its debut in PON as one of five exhibition
