Johannes Kotjo quits ABR
SINGAPORE (Reuters): Food group ABR Holdings Ltd said yesterday its board of directors had been changed.
The announcement followed acquisition of control of the company by a group of Singapore businessmen.
The company said in a statement that Indonesian businessman Johanes Kotjo had resigned from his position as ABR chairman and had been replaced by Ang Yee Lim.
Three other directors, including managing director Tatang Tabrani, had also resigned. Ricky Goh, Foo Jong Long and William Tan had been appointed in their place, the statement said.
The four Singaporeans are all linked to private Singapore leisure company Europa. They made a formal bid for ABR in September. In November, Kotjo cut his stake in the company to 3.96 percent from 10.17 percent.
