Jogja-Solo Toll Road Section 2.2 Reaches 86 Percent Completion, Targeted for September 2026

Construction of the Jogja-Solo Toll Road Section 2, Package 2.2, specifically the Trihanggo-Junction segment in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta, has reached approximately 86 percent completion and is targeted for provisional handover (PHO) in September 2026. Agung Murhandjanto, Public Relations for PT Adhi Karya on the Jogja-Solo Toll Road Section 2, Package 2.2 project, stated on Thursday that the project is currently entering the final stage of structural work after successfully completing the erection of girders for the on and off ramps. “Insya Allah, as of now, it has reached around 86 percent. Last night, we carried out the erection girder for the spanning beams, and for the ramp on and ramp off, alhamdulillah, it is finished,” said Agung. Agung noted that the subsequent focus of work includes reinforcement, rigid pavement casting, and asphalting in the ramp on and ramp off areas. Additionally, the company is also completing a toll gate featuring distinctive local cultural ornaments. In terms of connectivity, this toll road section will be physically connected directly to the Jogja-Bawen Toll Road. Traffic from both toll roads will be linked, entering and exiting via the Trihanggo toll exit. Addressing the challenges of building above a busy national traffic route, Agung emphasised that the contractor strictly implements safety Standard Operating Procedures to prevent potential accidents. Mitigation measures include requiring workers to wear complete personal protective equipment, installing safety nets on both sides of the elevated structure, and limiting working hours for heavy tasks such as concrete casting to the afternoon or evening when traffic volume decreases.
