Jogja Run D-City Race Pack Collection Open Until 10 PM Tonight
The Jogja Run D-City is set to take place tomorrow. Race pack collection is available until 10:00 PM WIB at the eastern wing of the Jogja Expo Centre (JEC) in Bantul. Participants are encouraged to collect their packs promptly.
Latif Harnoko, Director of Transmedia, stated that as of this evening, 90% of the Jogja Run D-COty participants have already collected their race packs. “We are keeping the collection open until 10:00 PM WIB,” Noko told detikJogja at JEC on Saturday (23/05/2026).
Collection can be handled by a representative, provided they present a stamped power of attorney letter along with supporting documents, specifically a photocopy of the owner’s ID (KTP) and the e-ticket.
Noko explained that while there were minor registration system issues on the first day of collection (22/05), all technical difficulties have been resolved. “We performed an immediate recovery, and today everything is running smoothly. We hope tomorrow’s event proceeds without a hitch. We are fully prepared. After all, there is no better way to enjoy the city of Jogja than through running,” he remarked.
The Jogja Run D-City is predicted to attract up to 6,000 runners, with participants ranging from young children to senior citizens. The demographic is also geographically diverse, with runners travelling from regions as far as Sumatra and Sulawesi. “I have seen participants aged 66, as well as children around 5 or 6 years old. They are coming from many different cities; I have seen people from Makassar and Lampung,” he noted.
The Jogja Run D-City will be held on Sunday, 24 May 2026. The race will commence from the Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK) at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), starting at 05:30 for the 10K category and 05:45 for the 5K category. Notably, all registration proceeds will be donated to fund scholarships for students at UGM.
