Jogja Financial Festival 2026 Officially Opened!
The Jogja Financial Festival (JFF) 2026 has officially opened at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC) in Bantul today. The event will run for two days, Friday (22 May) and Saturday (23 May).
The Jogja Financial Festival was opened directly by Finance Minister Purbaya Yudi Sadhewa, the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, Anggito Abimanyu, Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), founder of CT Corp, Chairul Tanjung, and the Rector of Gadjah Mada University, Ova Emilia.
As a symbolic gesture, Finance Minister Purbaya, Sultan HB X, Anggito Abimanyu, Chairul Tanjung, and Ova Emilia pressed a block to mark the official opening of the Jogja Financial Festival.
The largest financial festival is taking place at the Jogja Expo Center, located on Jalan Raya Janti, Banguntapan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), Indonesia.
The Jogja Financial Festival presents itself as a platform that brings together stakeholders in the financial sector—from policymakers, regulators, financial industry players, academics, to the general public—to discuss and share perspectives.
The event aims to improve financial literacy and inclusion among the public, especially young people.
It is known that the Jogja Financial Festival, conceived by Transmedia in collaboration with LPS, has previously been successfully held in Surabaya and Medan and was attended by more than 10,000 people.
The Jogja Financial Festival features a Business Talk and an Educational Class. In the Business Talk session, it is planned that government officials will attend, including the Chairman of Commission XI of the DPR, Mukhrammad Misbakhun, the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of LPS Anggito Abimanyu, and the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of OJK Friderica Widyasari Dewi.
From the host side, Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X and Yogyakarta City Mayor Hasto Wardoyo are expected to attend.
Prominent entrepreneur and founder and chairman of CT Corp, Chairul Tanjung, will also share his experiences in building a business to its current scale. Also attending will be the academic representative, Rector of Gadjah Mada University Ova Emilia.
