Joedono to visit Vietnam

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Trade Satrio B. Joedono said
Saturday that he will leave for Vietnam on Tuesday, to lead a
two-day trade mission.

"The trade mission, which will be participated in by a number
of businessmen, is focused on the promotion of a long-term
Indonesian presence in Vietnam," Joedono told reporters Saturday
after meeting with President Soeharto at the Bina Graha office.

The minister said that the Indonesian delegation will meet
Vietnam's ministers responsible for trade, heavy Industry,
construction and energy, the governor of Ho Chi Minh City and
that country's chamber of commerce and industry.(hdj)
