JAKARTA - Job vacancies for 30,000 managers of Merah Putih Village Cooperatives (Kopdes) and 5,476 employees of Merah Putih Fishermen’s Villages have been opened! The government guarantees no backdoor channels or nepotism.

“There are no special channels, no recommendations, no parties guaranteeing success,” said Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), in a statement from the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) on Thursday (16/4/2026).

Zulhas claimed the recruitment will be conducted fairly, with the government selecting the best candidates.

Zulhas explained that the registration process will only be done centrally through the link phtc.panselnas.go.id without any fees.

Zulhas also urged prospective applicants to beware of individuals offering promises of success in exchange for certain payments.

“If there are parties asking for compensation and promising success, that means they are deceiving and lying,” he said.

The registration period is open from 15 April 2026 to 24 April 2026.

The 30,000 successful candidates for Kopdes Merah Putih managers will be under PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara.

Meanwhile, the 5,476 KNMP employees will be under PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara.

In addition, Zulhas reminded that the applicant’s domicile will be one of the determining factors if there are two or more applicants with the same selection scores.

He gave an example: if there are two applicants from Lampung and East Java with the same score for placement in East Java, the applicant from East Java is likely to be prioritised.

“If they are qualified and good, they will get it. The best one will certainly get it,” said Zulhas.
