The Central Jakarta Administrative City Government is organising a job fair at the Senen Sports Hall (GOR Senen), providing around 2,000 job vacancies from 37 participating companies.

“This activity also includes walk-in interviews from the participating companies,” said Dani Sudrajat, Secretary of the Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office (Disnakertransgi), in Jakarta on Thursday.

Dani stated that the job fair is an effort to connect job seekers with companies in need of labour. The event is scheduled to take place over two days, from 4–5 June 2026. The job fair continues to be developed to become more adaptive to community needs.

“On this occasion, there are approximately 2,000 vacancies and around 37 companies participating,” he added.

Dani noted that the Jakarta Provincial Government does not want the job fair to merely be a routine annual agenda with an unchanging concept. Consequently, the event also involves mentored MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to encourage new entrepreneurship.

He expressed hope that the presence of MSMEs in the event could open opportunities for individuals wishing to establish their own businesses, as job creation occurs not only through companies but also through the growth of new business actors.

“We are striving to make adjustments in accordance with the Governor’s direction, ensuring that this job fair concept does not remain the same from year to year. It is not just about job seekers meeting companies, but also about empowering our mentored MSMEs,” he concluded.
