JNE has officially secured halal certification for its logistics services from the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH). The achievement marks a strategic step in strengthening the company’s logistics service management standards while offering added value to customers and businesses across various sectors.

BPJPH issued the certification under number ID314110080091010826, following an inspection and halal audit by the Assessment Institute for Foods, Drugs and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM MUI).

The certification is part of JNE’s efforts to ensure that its logistics services apply halal product assurance principles in line with prevailing standards and regulations. The certification was formally inaugurated at JNE’s headquarters ballroom in West Jakarta.

Held under the theme “Halal Logistics: From Certification to Implementation”, the event underscored that halal certification is not merely an administrative requirement, but part of the consistent application of standards in logistics operations.

Through its Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), JNE is continuing to strengthen the handling, storage, packaging and distribution of consignments to ensure they meet the required halal standards.

M. Feriadi Soeprapto said the certification demonstrated JNE’s consistent compliance with the criteria of the Halal Product Assurance System. He said collection, packaging, storage and distribution processes were carried out safely and hygienically, in accordance with Islamic principles.

“With this halal logistics certification, JNE ensures that all operational processes — from handling food consignments and strictly separating halal and non-halal products at every transit point to delivering them to their final destinations — meet stringent halal logistics standards,” Feriadi said in a written statement on Wednesday, 14 October 2026.

Feriadi added that halal-standard logistics services offered added value to food businesses. With an integrated operating system, businesses dealing in both halal and non-halal products could feel more secure and comfortable.

Appropriate handling safeguards against the risk of cross-contamination while parcels are in transit, helping preserve product quality until delivery to consumers. This supports the company’s long-term commitment to “Connecting Happiness” for every customer.

As JNE prepares to mark its 36th anniversary on 26 November 2026 under the theme “Melesat Hebat” (“Soaring Ahead”), the achievement provides an opportunity for the company to continue innovating, make progress and reinforce its position as a leading logistics partner trusted by people across Indonesia.

The event was also attended by BPJPH head Ahmad Haikal Hasan, known as Babe Haikal; Asya Fathya Nur Zakiah, Strategic Key Account and Halal Auditor at LPPOM; Dwi Pamungkas Bermani, director of PT DGI Levner Consulting; and JNE president director M. Feriadi Soeprapto, along with members of JNE’s management.
