JKN Programme Used 2.36 Million Times in Blora Throughout 2025
The National Health Insurance (JKN) programme continues to deliver tangible benefits to the residents of Blora Regency, Central Java, with utilisation reaching 2,365,843 cases involving a total of 529,927 participants accessing services at BPJS Kesehatan partner health facilities. Head of the Pati Branch of BPJS Kesehatan, Nuzuludin Hasan, stated on Saturday that the high rate of health service utilisation indicates growing public awareness in exercising their rights as JKN participants to obtain healthcare services. “This achievement shows that the people of Blora increasingly understand the importance of health protection through the JKN Programme. When they need healthcare services, participants can access services at health facilities cooperating with BPJS Kesehatan without worrying about the cost of services guaranteed according to provisions,” he said. He explained that the majority of health service utilisation occurred at First-Level Health Facilities (FKTP), which cover basic promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services. Throughout 2025, a total of 1,965,370 service visits were recorded, with 416,277 participants utilising services at FKTP. According to him, the optimal utilisation of services at FKTP demonstrates that the public has been using tiered health services according to medical needs. FKTP serves as the front line in maintaining participants’ health while supporting early detection and disease control. Meanwhile, services at Advanced Referral Health Facilities (FKRTL) also continue to provide protection for participants requiring specialist or sub-specialist care. “During 2025, 400,473 service cases were recorded, with 113,650 participants receiving care at hospitals and other referral health facilities,” he said. Nuzuludin added that the high utilisation of health services is a real reflection of the JKN Programme’s presence in providing comprehensive health protection for the community. Through the mutual cooperation principle that underpins JKN implementation, various diseases with high treatment costs can be managed without burdening participants. He revealed that up to 30 April 2026, health service utilisation in Blora Regency had reached 797,942 cases with 314,429 participants. “These figures show that the JKN Programme continues to be the public’s mainstay in obtaining easy, fast, and equitable access to healthcare services,” he said. Nuzuludin expressed hope that synergy between BPJS Kesehatan, local government, health facilities, and all stakeholders will continue to be strengthened so that the quality of health services in Blora Regency improves further and the benefits of the JKN Programme can be felt optimally by all participants.
