JKN Programme Provides Service Certainty for Participants
Agustina Repi, 42, a participant in the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme, stated that the programme’s presence provides service certainty for beneficiaries.
“The JKN programme continues to provide real benefits to the community in accessing healthcare services,” said Agustina at Kalooran Amurang Hospital, South Minahasa Regency, on Thursday.
According to her, the existence of the JKN programme is immensely helpful, particularly in providing ease for the public to obtain medical services when needed.
“I am very helped by the existence of JKN. Without JKN, I would not know how I could obtain healthcare services when needed. I hope the JKN programme will continue to exist because it is very helpful to me and the community,” Agustina revealed.
This testimony was shared by Agustina while the Head of the BPJS Kesehatan Tondano Branch, Daryono, conducted a ‘SiBLing’ (Supervise, Prove, and See Directly) activity at Kalooran Amting Hospital.
The SiBLing activity is part of BPJS Kesehatan’s efforts to directly observe the implementation of services for JKN participants, while simultaneously listening to the experiences of participants during their time at healthcare facilities.
This approach is a vital part of understanding the public’s direct experience, ranging from the process of receiving care to the level of comfort felt while at the healthcare facility.
During the occasion, Daryono spoke directly with Agustina regarding her experiences receiving services.
Agustina appreciated the services at Kalooran Amurang Hospital, noting that the care she received was very good and that the medical staff were friendly.
For Agustina, healthcare is not just about treatment, but also about how participants feel comfortable, respected, and attended to while in the hospital. The friendly attitude of the medical personnel was one of the factors that made her feel she received excellent service.
“The service is very good and the medical staff are also friendly. I am very grateful because the JKN programme is very helpful to me,” she said.
The presence of JKN provides peace of mind for participants to obtain healthcare services in accordance with their needs and applicable regulations.
Through the SiBLing activity, BPJS Kesehatan not only monitors the implementation of services but also opens a space to listen to the voices and experiences of participants. Every experience shared by the community can serve as valuable input in the effort to maintain and improve the quality of healthcare services sustainably.
Collaboration between BPJS Kesehatan and healthcare facilities is also a crucial part of delivering increasingly better services for JKN participants. Through communication, coordination, and shared commitment, it is hoped that the public can continue to receive high-quality healthcare.
Agustina’s presence and testimony serve as a reminder that behind the implementation of the JKN Programme, there are members of the community who truly feel its benefits. Agustina hopes that the JKN programme will continue to provide protection and remain part of the effort to realise a healthier Indonesian society.
