JK Visits Bareskrim to File Direct Report on Alleged Hoax Funding Roy Suryo and Associates

Tenth and twelfth Vice President of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla (JK), visited the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim). JK intends to file a direct report against Rismon Sianipar over allegations of funding Roy Suryo and associates in connection with the diploma of the seventh President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

detikcom observations noted that JK arrived at the Bareskrim building on Wednesday (8/4/2026) around 11:00 WIB. He was accompanied by his legal team, who had arrived earlier.

“I am here to file a report,” JK said briefly when asked about his purpose for visiting Bareskrim Polri.

Previously, JK had reported Rismon Sianipar over the allegations of funding Roy Suryo and associates regarding President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) diploma. The report was submitted through JK’s lawyer, Abdul Haji Talaohu.

“So today, as per our plan, we have reported Rismon, met with the investigators, and submitted everything. The administration (of the report) is just a technical matter later,” JK’s legal representative, Abdul Haji Talaohu, told reporters on Monday (6/4).

Abdul stated that they also filed complaints against several YouTube channels. He mentioned that additional data needs to be completed before filing an official report against four YouTube channels.

“Besides Rismon, there are several YouTube accounts and YouTubers that we will also complain about, as we need to complete some data, and we will submit the complaints as soon as possible. The articles we are relying on are Articles 263 and 264 of the new Criminal Code, and Law No. 1 of 2023,” he explained.
