JK Reports to Bareskrim Allegations of Funding Roy Suryo et al. Regarding Jokowi's Diploma
Indonesia’s 10th and 12th Vice President, Jusuf Kalla (JK), visited the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim). JK stated that he was reporting Risman Sianipar regarding allegations of funding Roy Suryo and others in connection with President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) diploma.
According to detikNews on Wednesday (8/4/2026), JK arrived at the Bareskrim building around 11:00 WIB. He was accompanied by his lawyer, who had arrived earlier.
“I am here to file a report,” JK said briefly when asked about the purpose of his visit to Bareskrim.
Previously, JK had reported Risman Sianipar over the accusations of funding Roy Suryo and others regarding the diploma of the 7th President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The report was submitted by JK through his lawyer, Abdul Haji Talaohu.
“So today, as per our plan, we have reported Risman, met with the investigators, submitted everything. The administration of the report (LP) is just a technical matter later,” JK’s legal representative, Abdul Haji Talaohu, told reporters on Monday (6/4).
Abdul stated that they also filed complaints against several YouTube channels. He mentioned that additional data still needs to be completed before making an official report against four YouTube channels.
“In addition to Risman, there are several YouTube accounts and YouTubers that we will also complain about, because we need to complete some data, and we will submit the complaints as soon as possible. The articles we are relying on are Articles 263 and 264 of the new Criminal Code, and Law Number 1 of 2023,” he explained.
