The Jakarta Provincial Government has officially closed the Jakarta International Investment, Trade, Tourism & SMEs Expo (JITEX) 2026 on Saturday (19/09/2026) at the JIEXPO Convention Centre and Gedung Pusat Niaga, Kemayoran, Jakarta. The Head of the Jakarta Provincial Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM), Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, expressed her appreciation to all parties that supported the implementation of JITEX 2026.

According to Elisabeth, the execution of JITEX serves as a vital component in strengthening Jakarta’s business ecosystem while opening opportunities for cooperation among business actors.

“JITEX 20.6 provides a space for businesses to introduce their products, build networks, and explore cooperation opportunities with buyers, investors, and business partners from various sectors. We hope that the potential transactions and investments gathered during the event can be followed up into sustainable business relationships, expanding market access, including export opportunities, and driving business growth in Jakarta,” said Ratu.

She added that the success of JITEX was inseparable from the contributions of buyers, investors, business partners, visitors, exhibitors, and all parties involved in the series of activities.

“This collaboration is a concrete step in encouraging the development of trade, investment, tourism, and the empowerment of Jakarta’s MSMEs so they become more connected to both national and international markets,” she continued.

From the ATTEC perspective, the Secretary General of the Asian Trade, Tourism and Economics Council (ATTEC), Rama Auwines, stated that JITEX 2026 serves as a momentum to strengthen Jakarta’s business relations with international trade and investment networks. According to Rama, the involvement of buyers, investors, business associations, and partners from various countries opens space for businesses to explore opportunities that can be developed after the exhibition ends.

“For us, the success of JITEX does not end with the conclusion of the exhibition. What is more important is how the connections built between businesses, buyers, investors, and international partners can continue into long-term transactions and cooperation. Through JITEX, ATTEC hopes that more opportunities will emerge to connect Jakarta with the global market and open new growth spaces for Indonesian businesses,” revealed Rama Auwines.

Over the four-day event, JITEX 2026 featured trade exhibitions, business matching, investment forums, trade forums, networking programmes, buyer programmes, and various public activities. Several international agendas were also part of the JITEX 2026 series, including the ATTEC Global Investment Forum and the Asia Food and Ecosystem Summit.

These two agendas brought together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss investment opportunities, trade, and the development of the food and business ecosystem. The business matching and buyer programmes also provided opportunities for businesses to explore cooperation with potential partners from various countries. These meetings are expected to support the market expansion of Jakarta’s products while opening export opportunities.

In addition to trade and investment, JITEX 2026 also brought cultural and tourism potential into the series of activities as part of Jakarta’s economic development. The presence of these two sectors expanded the space for interaction between business actors, international partners, and stakeholders in various fields.

Key achievements of JITEX 2026 include:
