JIHM to run hotel in Bali

JAKARTA (JP): PT Jakarta International Hotel Management (JIHM), a subsidiary of PT Jakarta International Hotel Development which owns Hotel Borobudur Inter-Continental, will manage the five-star Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel in Kuta of Bali.

The owner of Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel, PT Kharisma Arya Paksi, announced here over the weekend that JIHM will start the management on Jan. 1 by improving a range of services and facilities.

JIHM was established in 1992 to manage a number of properties developed by JIHD, which will include Casabella apartments in Jakarta.

The 386-room Kartika Plaza Beach Hotel has been managed by Aerowisata, a subsidiary of the state-owned airline Garuda Indonesia for five years.

Aerowisata currently also operates several star-rated hotels in Bandung of West Java, Bukittinggi of West Sumatra, Lombok of West Nusa Tenggara and Bali.(icn)
