JIEP Scholarship Programme Achieves 100 Per Cent Success Rate for State University Admissions
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental (TJSL) scholarship programme provided by PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadrum (Perseroda), also known as PT JIEP, has resulted in a 100 per cent success rate, with all participants successfully gaining admission to State Universities (PTN) in Indonesia.
“In supporting the improvement of educational quality through the JIEP Scholarship TJSL programme, we have achieved a proud milestone by ensuring 100 per cent of participants passed into PTNs in Indonesia,” said the President Director of PT JIEP, Dharma Satriadi, in Jakarta on Wednesday.
PT JIEP, which is a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of the DKI Jakarta Province and a member of the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding, provided the scholarship in the form of free additional study packages to prepare for university entrance for 10 selected students from SMAN 89 Jakarta.
Participants were chosen through a selection process prior to undergoing intensive mentoring.
In its implementation, PT JIEP partnered with the tutoring agency Ruangguru to provide comprehensive academic coaching and guidance to the participants.
As a result, all students participating in the programme were accepted into various State Universities.
Nine students were declared successful through the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) pathway, while one student was admitted through the National Selection Based on Merit (SNBP) pathway.
Dharma stated that this success is a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to supporting the development of superior and competitive human resources.
“Education is a vital aspect in supporting the birth of Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045. Through the JIEP Scholarship Programme, we want to provide broader opportunities for students to access quality learning so they are able to compete and achieve their ambitions,” Dharma explained.
According to him, the success of all participants being accepted into State Universities is also inseparable from the synergy established between PT JIEP and SMAN 89 Jakarta as the programme’s beneficiaries.
This collaboration was able to provide support for students in preparing themselves for the university entrance selection process.
“This achievement serves as motivation for PT JIEP to continue presenting CSR programmes that provide real and sustainable benefits to the community,” said Dharma.
Moving forward, Dharma hopes that the JIEP Scholarship Programme can continue to deliver a positive impact in creating a young generation that is excellent, competitive, and ready to face future challenges.
