JIEP Scholarship Programme Achieves 100 Per Cent Success Rate for State University Admissions
The Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Scholarship Programme provided by PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Perseroda), or PT JIEP, has achieved a 100 per cent success rate, with all participating students gaining admission to State Universities (PTN) across Indonesia. “In supporting the improvement of education quality through the TJSL JIEP Scholarship programme, we have recorded a proud achievement by ensuring 100 per cent of participants gained admission to state universities in Indonesia,” said PT JIEP President Director Dharma Satriadi in Jakarta on Wednesday. PT JIEP, a Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of DKI Jakarta Province and a member of the Danareksa State-Owned Enterprise Holding, provided the scholarship in the form of a free supplementary learning package to prepare for state university entrance exams for ten selected students from SMAN 89 Jakarta. The participants were chosen through a selection process before joining the intensive mentoring programme. In its implementation, PT JIEP partnered with the tutoring institution Ruangguru to provide comprehensive academic coaching and mentoring to the participants. As a result, all students who joined the programme were accepted at various state universities. Nine students were admitted through the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) pathway, while one other student was admitted through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway. Dharma described the success as a tangible manifestation of the company’s commitment to supporting the development of superior and competitive human resources. “Education is an important aspect in supporting the birth of Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045. Through the JIEP Scholarship Programme, we want to provide broader opportunities for students to access quality learning so they can compete and achieve their aspirations,” Dharma explained. He noted that the success of all participants in gaining state university admission was also inseparable from the synergy established between PT JIEP and SMAN 89 Jakarta as the programme beneficiaries. This collaboration provided support for students in preparing themselves for the university selection process. “This achievement serves as motivation for PT JIEP to continue presenting TJSL programmes that provide real and sustainable benefits for the community,” Dharma said. Looking ahead, Dharma expressed hope that the JIEP Scholarship Programme would continue to have a positive impact in creating a young generation that is superior, competitive, and ready to face future challenges. In line with its role as a BUMD of DKI Jakarta Province, the company is committed to supporting quality human resource development and contributing to regional and community progress sustainably.
