JFX Records Rp3,268 Trillion in Transaction Value Throughout July 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (Jakarta Futures Exchange/JFX) recorded a transaction value of around Rp3,268 trillion throughout July 2026, derived from multilateral trading, bilateral trading, and Foreign Access Trading (PALN).
“The increase in trading activity shows that the exchange mechanism is increasingly being used as a means of transaction as well as a transparent price formation,” said JFX President Director Yazid Kanca Surya in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Of that total, PALN activity booked a transaction value of around Rp54.45 trillion with a volume of more than 3.92 million lots.
According to him, customers cannot submit transactions directly to the exchange, but must go through futures brokers whose task is to relay customers’ orders to the trading system.
Through the PALN mechanism, domestic futures brokers cooperate with foreign brokers to channel customers’ transactions to the destination exchange.
“Domestic customers become customers of domestic brokers, then their transactions are channelled to foreign brokers who are members of foreign exchanges and forwarded to the foreign exchange,” said Vito during the JFX Journalist Workshop.
