Jewish Terrorists Besiege Palestinian Homes for Four Consecutive Days
For more than four days since Sunday (9/8/2026), illegal Israeli settlers have continued to besiege three Palestinian homes in the town of Qusra, Nablus, in the West Bank. The besieged residents have expressed their determination to defend their homes.
Aisha Abu Rida, one of the Palestinian residents currently trapped inside her home due to settlers blocking roads and cutting off water and electricity supplies in Qusra, told Al Jazeera that they will remain steadfast despite facing various hardships. “We are besieged by Israeli settlers, but we remain steadfast, God willing,” Abu Rida said via voice message. “We will not leave our homes, no matter what happens.”
“Even if we fall as martyrs, we ask to be buried in our own homes, so that the house remains a witness to the crimes of the settlers against us and the Palestinian people,” she added.
The siege by the Jewish terrorists has been ongoing since last Sunday. Dozens of settlers surrounded the homes and attempted to expel the residents. During these four days, the occupation forces did not stop the settlers’ actions.
Palestinian residents whose homes are besieged by extremist settlers in the village of Qusra, south of Nablus, confirmed to The Times of Israel that IDF and Border Police forces arrived before dawn to once again attempt to evacuate the settlers. The previous morning’s attempt to remove the settlers was unsuccessful. Residents said the IDF demolished all the temporary structures erected by the settlers in the area.
However, video footage taken within the last hour shows that a number of settlers are still near the besieged homes, and residents say they are still afraid to leave their houses. The military confirmed that security forces demolished structures at two illegal settler outposts in the villages of Qusra and Jalud in the West Bank overnight. Both outposts were established on the outskirts of the villages, specifically in Area B of the West Bank. The IDF stated that security forces dismantled the structures, confiscated equipment, and detained an Israeli suspect.
Despite the IDF’s statement, settlers were still seen outside two Palestinian homes in Qusra this morning. Meanwhile, the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade—which was previously on a break between operational activities—has been deployed to the northern West Bank to help deal with provocations and settler attacks against Palestinians. “The forces will carry out defensive missions and patrols in the area to maintain security in the region,” the military statement said.
