Jakarta — The Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026 served as a major platform bringing together various automotive brands and consumers under one roof. Beyond new product launches, test drive activities proved to be a principal draw, attracting steady crowds throughout the exhibition at JIExpo Kemayoran.

A notable highlight was the strong visitor interest in hands-on testing of displayed vehicles. The Jetour T2 stood out as the model with the highest number of test drive sessions during IIMS 2026.

The newcomer SUV received the Most Tested Car Choice award from the event organisers. The same model was also named Favourite Newcomer SUV, reinforcing its position as one of the most closely watched products at the show.

The lengthy queues at the test drive area demonstrated that visitors were not merely interested in viewing vehicle designs but also keen to experience the driving feel first-hand. The Jetour booth in Hall C3 was consistently packed with prospective buyers eager to put the vehicle through its paces.

Vice President of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, Caroline Ling, described the achievement as a mark of public appreciation for a newly introduced product. “We are very proud of the Jetour T2’s performance at IIMS 2026, which reflects visitors’ enthusiasm for the design and quality of this vehicle,” she said in an official statement on Thursday, 19 February 2026.

She added that visitor responses during the exhibition provided valuable feedback for the company in understanding Indonesian consumer expectations. According to Caroline, direct interaction through test drives helps consumers gain a more thorough understanding of a vehicle’s character.

In terms of specifications, the Jetour T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre TGDI engine capable of producing up to 245 PS with 375 Nm of torque. This performance is paired with an X-WD drivetrain system offering seven driving modes for various road conditions.

The available driving modes include Normal, Eco, Standard, Rock, Sand, Snow, and Sport, selectable according to need. This flexibility was cited as a key factor sparking visitor curiosity to test the vehicle’s capabilities on the exhibition’s test drive course.
