Jetour T1 PHEV Set to Launch in Indonesia
JAKARTA – Jetour is preparing to introduce a new model for the Indonesian market, the Jetour T1 i-DM. This urban adventure-styled SUV will feature Plug-in Hybrid Intelligent Dual Mode (i-DM) technology. More simply, the technology combines a petrol engine and electric motor, known as a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). If confirmed, the T1 will be Jetour’s first PHEV in Indonesia. The model has already gained global attention. Within less than two years of its global debut, the Jetour T1 has sold over 169,000 units and won the 2024 Red Dot Design Award for its design. Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, Moch Ranggy Radiansyah said the Jetour T1 is designed for modern consumers seeking a vehicle with strong character that is also comfortable and efficient for daily use. ‘Jetour sees consumer needs evolving towards vehicles that not only have a strong design and distinct character,’ Ranggy said in a statement on Monday (25/5/2026). ‘but also deliver smarter, more efficient, and comfortable driving experiences for various modern lifestyles,’ he added. The spacious cabin is a key selling point to support daily mobility and long-distance family travel. The system also ensures a more modern and adaptable driving experience for both urban and intercity use. ‘We believe the Jetour T1 will be a significant step for Jetour in bringing globally relevant innovations to the Indonesian market, and the model will soon be officially launched in Indonesia,’ Ranggy said.
