Jetour Still Studying X20e Market in Indonesia
JAKARTA — Jetour presented at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). However, there has been no indication that the compact electric vehicle will launch by the end of the year.
Marketing Director Jetour Indonesia, Moch Ranggy Rahadiansyah, stated that the presence of the X20e, positioned as a competitor to the BYD Atto 1, remains at the market research stage.
“We want to see what kind of consumer reaction we get. We are also gathering consumer insights through research and surveys,” he said.
Ranggy believes the company must adapt to market preferences. Currently, the company remains focused on introducing the Jetour T2 and its plug-in hybrid variant, which will launch in the second half of the year.
“Ultimately, business strategy is dynamic. At present, we view the Jetour T2 as the product consumers are more eagerly awaiting, so we are bringing it to market and focusing on the Jetour T2,” he stated.
“In terms of our global portfolio, we also want to demonstrate that we are moving towards new energy vehicles. We have an EV portfolio, including both plug-in hybrids and battery electric vehicles,” he added.
The electric vehicle is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery with two capacity options: 28.5 kWh and 39.33 kWh. The electric motor produces 53 horsepower with a maximum torque of 110 Nm.
Regarding driving range, the 28.5 kWh battery variant is claimed capable of travelling up to 305 kilometres on a single full charge. Meanwhile, the variant with a 39.33 kWh battery can cover up to 405 kilometres.
