BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – The Chinese automotive brand Jetour is not operating independently in developing new energy vehicles. Behind its aggressiveness, there is full support from its parent company, Chery Group, which provides broad access to various cutting-edge technologies.

Jetour International President, Ke Chuandeng, stated that Jetour’s status as part of Chery Group is a significant advantage, particularly in technology development.

“Jetour benefits from Chery Group’s cutting-edge technology because we are part of the group. We share Chery’s internal battery technology, intelligent driving systems, and the entire new energy ecosystem,” said Ke in Beijing on Saturday (25/4/2026).

This advantage allows Jetour to move faster in introducing competitive electrified vehicles to the global market. All resources from the group can be utilised without restrictions.

“Those resources come from the group and can be shared directly with Jetour without any limitations,” said Ke.

“From the group’s perspective, top management will fully support Jetour’s development; all technologies will be open and free for Jetour’s development,” Ke added.

Interestingly, despite receiving technology transfers from the parent company, Jetour continues to develop its own innovations.

The combination of full support from Chery Group and internal technology development forms a strong foundation for Jetour to compete in the increasingly competitive global era of electric vehicles and new energy.
