Jetour Considers PHEV Versions of Dashing and X70 Plus in Indonesia
BEIJING – Jetour is opening the possibility of introducing plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variants for models already marketed in Indonesia, including the Jetour Dashing and Jetour X70 Plus. However, the realisation will not be rushed.
Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, stated that Jetour’s approach to introducing electrification technology is always conducted with caution.
“So when we launch PHEV, we are indeed very careful with the launch. We launched the X70 and Dashing at the beginning of last year, launched the T2 last November but not too aggressively because we also want to ensure aftersales,” said Ranggy in Beijing recently.
This statement indicates that the potential arrival of PHEV variants for the Dashing and X70 Plus is quite open, in line with Jetour’s gradual electrification strategy in Indonesia.
In terms of sales, both models are still in the early market introduction phase. From January to March 2026, the Jetour Dashing recorded sales of 77 units.
With these figures, the presence of PHEV variants has the potential to provide an additional boost to increase the attractiveness of both models in the market.
Moreover, the trend of vehicle electrification in Indonesia continues to develop, although it still requires a mature ecosystem readiness.
