Jetour Boss Set to Bring Two New Vehicles to Indonesia, Here's the Preview
PT Jetour Sales Indonesia has signalled its intention to expand its product portfolio in the domestic market this year. The Chinese automotive manufacturer is preparing two new models set to be introduced in the second half of 2026.
Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales, Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, stated that both models will be part of the SUV lineup. Each model is designed to target different market segments to avoid cannibalising one another.
In addition to conventional engine models, Jetour is also preparing electrified variants for the Indonesian market. One variant already in preparation is the Jetour T2 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version.
“The indicative price is currently higher at IDR 838 million. So there’s a difference of around IDR 150 million with the Jetour T2 ICE,” Ranggy told CNBC Indonesia on Wednesday (11 March 2026).
The T2 PHEV model is expected to launch in the second semester of this year, coinciding with the momentum of Indonesia’s major automotive exhibition, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.
“We estimate it will be launched in the second half of 2026. Usually the momentum is at the auto show,” he said.
The company is also preparing an additional model that remains undisclosed. The vehicle will fall into the Adventure Series lineup, which is the focus of Jetour’s development strategy in Indonesia.
“Besides the Jetour T2 PHEV, there will be another model that we’re planning for the Indonesian market,” Ranggy said.
Accordingly, at least two new models will be introduced to domestic consumers this year.
“We’ll introduce at least two models as options for consumers interested in SUVs in the adventure segment,” he said.
Ranggy added that Jetour’s primary strategy in Indonesia remains focused on combining attractive design with product value that is considered commensurate with the price offered.
“Jetour T2 consumers previously looked at this vehicle first for its appealing design. Secondly for its price-to-value ratio. At IDR 588 million, the product package we offer is worth more than the price,” he said.
Each model launched by Jetour will be prepared thoroughly, from product readiness to after-sales service support.
“When we launch a product, we ensure it’s not merely a launch event, but also mature, relevant to the market, competitively priced, and supporting elements such as after-sales service are already in place,” he said.
