Jepara is Investors’ Favorite Region
TEMPO Interactive, Semarang:Jepara regency is the investors’ favorite region. This was shown by a report on investment realization in Central Java from January to October 31, 2009. “Out of 34 investment project completed in Central Java, eight were located in Jepara,” Anung Sugihandono, head of Central Java Investment Agency, said yesterday.
Anung said that Java’s northern coast area has a good trademark. “Besides, the wood industry still exists,” he added. Investors which completed their projects included PT Barocon Internasional, PT RH Furniture, PT Rubio Monocoat, PT Malabar Design, PT Anna Modern, PT Barok BS, PT TJB Power Services, and PT Satin Furniture. “The wood industry is still the dominant sector,” Anung said.
