Jenius by SMBC invites runners to create greater meaning in Bandung
Bandung (ANTARA) - Jenius by SMBC Indonesia, in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Indonesia, is introducing the “Lari Lebih Berarti” programme for the Pocari Sweat Run Indonesia 2026, scheduled for 19-20 September 2026 in Bandung, West Java.
The programme invites runners to find deeper meaning in their journey beyond simply reaching the finish line, by sharing the joy of achievement to help realise the dreams of children battling critical illnesses.
“We are inviting runners to create more meaning for themselves and those around them. Through the ‘Lari Lebih Berarti’ programme, for every runner who successfully completes the offline races in Lombok and Bandung, Jenius by SMBC Indonesia will contribute towards fulfilling the dreams of children with critical illnesses,” said Febri Rusli, Head of Retail Banking Digital Platform & Innovation at SMBC Indonesia, in Bandung on Sunday.
Furthermore, Febri noted that running and financial management share similarities, as both require consistency and discipline to achieve goals.
He added that running activities are also inseparable from financial needs, ranging from preparing equipment and race fees to transportation and accommodation, particularly for runners participating in domestic or international races.
“We want to be a companion for runners in preparing for these needs, from saving for races and making transactions during travel, to managing financial requirements in the destination city,” explained Febri.
To assist runners in preparing race funds, Jenius by SMBC Indonesia offers the Dream Saver and Flexi Saver savings features, which can be managed directly via the application.
