The 48th Bali Arts Festival (PKB) continues today, Monday, 6 July 2026, with a variety of performances at the Taman Budaya Art Centre in Denpasar. The festival, the largest arts event on the Island of the Gods, is held annually by the Bali Provincial Government and runs for a full month during the school holiday season. It features not only Balinese arts but also performances from outside the region and abroad. Today’s programme includes a performance of the distinctive Jegog dance and music from Jembrana, as well as a colossal sendratari ballet by Sanggar Paripurna from Bona, Gianyar. The schedule for the day is as follows: At 15:00 WITA, a revitalisation of classical arts by the Grahasta Bawera Arts Community from Badung Regency will be held at Kalangan Angsoka. At 17:00 WITA, the Jegog Pring Agung association from Jembrana Regency will perform Jegog dance and music at Kalangan Madya Mandala. At 18:30 WITA, a traditional Gong Drama parade by Sanggar Kuta Cita Budaya from Gianyar Regency will take place at Kalangan Ayodya. At 19:30 WITA, a sendratari performance by Sanggar Padmadwipa from Banten Province will be staged at the Ksirarnawa Building. Simultaneously, a Wayang Kulit shadow puppet parade by Sanggar Seni Dhanan Jaya from Badung Regency will be held in front of the Kriya Building. Also at 19:30 WITA, the colossal sendratari ballet by Sanggar Paripurna from Gianyar Regency will be performed at the Ardha Candra Open Stage.
