Jember Police Investigate Alleged Misuse of Subsidised Diesel

Jember Police in East Java are investigating an incident that nearly cost a Jember DPRD member’s life whilst pursuing a truck transporting illegally obtained fuel. The truck was caught red-handed purchasing subsidised diesel fuel in abnormally large quantities using a modified tank at a petrol station.

Police have obtained the truck’s identification details and will take firm action against those involved in hoarding subsidised fuel. The investigation underscores growing concerns over the misuse of fuel subsidies and the dangers posed by illegal fuel trafficking operations.
