Jealous woman killed by husband

MEDAN, North Sumatra: Police have arrested a man, identified
only as KT, for allegedly killing his wife and attempting to burn
their child and servant, Antara reported.

The man, tired of his jealous wife's tirades, stabbed Ade
Catherina beru Kembaren several times, the proprietress of the
"Kembaren Tour" bus company, on Friday.

According to police sources, Sulastri, the servant, said the
couple had a fight prior to the tragedy; she also witnessed the
killing.

KT attempted to burn their child and Sulastri but was foiled
by the arrival of his parents-in-law at the scene in time to
prevent it. (swe)
