JCOOK Introduces ARCA One Pro & ARCA One Compact
The trend of robot- and AI-based cooking equipment in the food industry is currently focused on smart kitchen automation, improved efficiency and consistency of taste. Key technologies include cooking machines and computer vision systems for quality monitoring and portion control.
As the culinary world continues to develop, the need for robot- and AI-based cooking equipment is seen as a smart solution. This has prompted JCOOK Indonesia to launch the first phase of ARCA (Automatic Robot Cooking Assistant), called ARCA One.
ARCA One is the first phase of nine planned development phases. The technology will continue to be developed and refined from one phase to the next. ARCA has also been marketed internationally, and the company hopes that technology developed in Indonesia can provide solutions for the food and beverage industry both domestically and in the global market.
At the launch, Harryanto Budiono, Head of Operation at JCOOK Indonesia, said that success in the food and beverage business requires two key elements, which must be combined with evolving technology. This led to the creation of ARCA One, a product that can cook automatically in the kitchen.
Launched in August 2026 in Jakarta, JCOOK introduced the ARCA One Pro and ARCA One Compact, which differ in size and cooking capacity. The ARCA One Compact has a capacity of 1-2 kg, while the Pro has a capacity of 5-8 kg. The launch event included a cooking demonstration by Chef Jason, Product Specialist Manager at JCOOK Indonesia.
Jackson, Managing Director of JCOOK Indonesia, said that ARCA was born from a lengthy research process and is one solution to various kitchen problems. Through ARCA, the company aims to help food and beverage industry players achieve more consistent, efficient and measurable cooking processes, from the use of seasonings and temperature to cooking time, without removing the role of humans and creativity in the kitchen.
“ARCA One was created not only as a machine that can cook automatically, but as JCOOK’s first step in building automation technology for the commercial kitchen industry,” Jackson said.
JCOOK Indonesia, as principal, will work with several distributors to market ARCA One in Indonesia. In addition to Indonesia, initial sales of ARCA One have already reached Malaysia through several distributors.
“ARCA One is the first step of our long journey. We want to prove that technology for the future of commercial kitchens can not only come to Indonesia, but can also be born and developed from Indonesia for the world,” Jackson said.
Both models not only offer superior performance and efficiency, but are also optimised in terms of operational costs, as a proactive effort to ensure customers get the right equipment and can improve their productivity and work effectiveness in the kitchen.
