JCI Surges Last Week, Foreign Investors Spotted Scooping Up These Stocks
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended last week’s trading in positive territory, closing Friday (12/6/2026) with a surge of 2.07% to the level of 6,007.62 at the end of the second session. A total of 615 stocks rose, 108 stocks weakened, and 93 stocks remained stagnant. Transaction frequency reached 2.40 million times, with trading volume hitting 37.47 billion shares worth Rp21.68 trillion.
Throughout last week’s trading, foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp5.98 trillion across all markets. The breakdown includes Rp101 billion in Net Foreign Buy (NFB) in the negotiation and cash markets, and Rp6.08 trillion in Net Foreign Sell (NFS) in the regular market.
Amid these transactions, several stocks were most heavily accumulated by foreign investors. The list includes: Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk (EMAS) at Rp51.6 billion, Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) at Rp40.7 billion, Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) at Rp29.2 billion, Archi Indonesia Tbk (ARCI) at Rp9.8 billion, Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) at Rp2.2 billion, Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) at Rp1.6 billion, and Super Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI) at Rp941.2 million.
