JCI Surges 5.06% in First Session, TPIA and BBCA Lead Most Active Stocks
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed the first trading session on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Monday, 15 June 2026, with a significant rally. As of 12.00 WIB, the main market index was recorded at 6,311.596, up 5.06% from its previous closing position.
The sharp increase indicated that positive sentiment dominated trading from the market’s opening. The strengthening was not limited to the IHSG, as other major indices also moved into positive territory. By the end of the first session, nearly all leading indices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange had recorded gains of more than five percent.
The IHSG’s movement throughout the morning session showed a strengthening trend. At 11.59 WIB, the index was at the 6,311.60 level before finally closing the first session at 6,311.596.
The market rally was also reflected in other indices, namely:

IDXLQ45LCL strengthened 5.72% to 92.176
IDX30 increased 5.12% to 356.356
IDX80 surged 5.91% to 94.976
The broad-based gains across various indices indicated that the market rally was not merely supported by a few specific stocks, but occurred across various blue-chip groups.
Amid the market strengthening, shares of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) became the most active stock by transaction value during the first session. The transaction value of TPIA shares reached Rp1.558 trillion, with a trading volume of 776.99 million shares. The share price of TPIA was recorded at Rp2,110 per share.
TPIA’s position at the top of the most active stocks list demonstrated high investor interest in the petrochemical issuer during the morning session.
Following TPIA, shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) secured the second position based on transaction value. BBCA shares recorded transactions worth Rp1.553 trillion, with a trading volume reaching 248.62 million shares. The share price of BBCA was at the level of Rp6,375 per share.
