JAKARTA – The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed significantly stronger on trading Wednesday (25/3/2026). According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the JCI rose 195.28 points or 2.75% to the level of 7,302.12.

The JCI opened at 7,084.62, lower than the previous close of 7,106.84. Throughout the trading session, the index moved in the range of 7,057.22 to touching the high of 7,302.12.

Total stock trading volume reached 36.27 billion shares with a transaction value of around Rp25.61 trillion and frequency of 2.101 million times. Market capitalisation was recorded at Rp12,841 trillion.

Several major indices strengthened in unison. LQ45 rose 24.04 points or 3.33% to 746.45. KOMPAS100 strengthened 35.14 points or 3.59% to 1,013.49, while IDX30 rose 13.79 points or 3.51% to 406.84.

Sharia indices also moved positively. The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) rose 22.79 points or 4.86% to 491.43.

The Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) strengthened 7.65 points or 4.27% to 186.72, and the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) rose 9.10 points or 3.66% to 257.72.

The industrial sector also strengthened 106.04 points or 5.96% to 1,880.30, followed by the transportation and logistics sector which rose 59.21 points or 3.30% to 1,855.69.

The cyclical sector strengthened 37.03 points or 3.84% to 1,000.34, while the infrastructure sector rose 66.55 points or 3.45% to 1,995.86. The non-cyclical consumer sector also rose 16.25 points or 2.31% to 719.38.

The financial sector strengthened 9.78 points or 0.71% to 1,395.47, and the property sector rose 8.50 points or 0.92% to 928.43. The technology sector also recorded an increase of 101.67 points or 1.33% to 7,738.53.

Among the LQ45 blue-chip stocks, the top gainers were led by PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) which surged 13.79% to Rp6,600 per share. This was followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) which rose 9.71% and PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) which strengthened 8.59%.

Shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) also rose 8.20%, while PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) strengthened 7.99%.

Meanwhile, the top losers were occupied by PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) which fell 7.97% to Rp4,040 per share. This was followed by PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) which weakened 3.63% and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) which fell 3.47%.

In the banking sector, shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) rose 1.85% to Rp6,900 per share. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) strengthened 1.72% to Rp3,540, and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) surged 5.07% to Rp4,970.
