JCI Strengthens to 6,210 Level Today (2/6) as Banking Stocks Rise

The Indonesia Composite Index (JCI) opened stronger in today’s trading, Tuesday (2/6/2026). The JCI opened at the 6,210 level, higher than the previous close of 6,127.38.

Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) at 09:02 WIB, during the early session of today’s trading, the index moved within the range of 6,183.17 to 6,219.92. Trading frequency was recorded at 137.6 thousand transactions, with market capitalisation reaching 10.898 trillion.

In terms of stock movement, 279 stocks strengthened, 236 stocks weakened, and 444 stocks remained unchanged. At the start of the session, the LQ45 index rose by 0.49 per cent to the 614.15 level. The IDX30 index also strengthened by 0.20 per cent to the 348.25 position. The KOMPAS100 index also rose by 1.52 per cent to the 819.64 level, while the Sharia-based ISSI index strengthened by 0.15 per cent to the 215.89 level.

On the other hand, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) fell by 0.42 per cent to the 380.35 position, while JII70 weakened by 0.22 per cent to the 149.02 level. Shares of PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) fell 1.49 per cent to 8,275, and shares of PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) fell 1.96 per cent to 1,500. Shares of PT Astra International also moved into the red with a decrease of 1.60 per cent to 4,920.

Conversely, shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) rose 1.36 per cent to 2,990, shares of PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BBTN) strengthened by 0.39 per cent to 1,275, and shares of PT Bank Mandiri (BMRI) rose 1.23 per cent to 4,130. Additionally, shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) strengthened by 0.69 per cent, or 20 points, to the 2,920 level.
