JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) strengthened in the opening trading session after the long holiday. On Wednesday (25/3/2026), the index closed up 195.28 points or 2.75% at the level of 7,302.12.

The strengthening was driven by net buying actions from foreign investors. The net buy value was recorded at Rp103.12 billion across the entire market. The regular market recorded Rp55.57 billion. The cash and negotiation markets amounted to Rp47.55 billion.

Large-capitalisation stocks were targeted. PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) recorded a net buy of Rp335.1 billion. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) amounted to Rp233.3 billion. PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) reached Rp199.9 billion.

The JCI movement throughout the day remained in the green zone. The index opened at the level of 7,084.62. The lowest position briefly touched 7,057.22. The index then rose until it closed at the daily high of 7,302.12.

Trading activity was quite high. The transaction volume reached 38.44 billion shares. The transaction value was Rp25.92 trillion. The trading frequency was recorded at 2.13 million times.

The Indonesia Stock Exchange market capitalisation reached Rp12,868.86 trillion.
