JAKARTA - PT Bursa Efek Indonesia Tbk (IDX) hopes that investors will closely monitor the impact of the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran in the Middle East on domestic stock market movements.

Acting CEO of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) Jeffrey Hendrik stated that regarding the effects of the Iran war, investors are expected to always remain rational and assess the situation carefully.

“Then, certainly, pay attention to fundamental factors,” he said when met after the Oath-Taking Ceremony for Members of the Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners on Wednesday (25/3/2026).

“And certainly, always adjust to each individual’s risk profile,” he added.

Jeffrey explained that the current situation involves very high uncertainty.

With this in mind, investors can consider the present conditions in their decision-making.

“But if we look at today, after our market has been closed for quite a while, our market has reacted quite positively to the latest developments in the Middle East,” he concluded.

For information, the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) experienced a strengthening until the end of trading today, Wednesday (25/3/2026) at 16:00 WIB.

The JCI closed up 195.282 points or 2.75 percent to the level of 7,302.121. This marks the first trading day after the Eid holiday.
