JCI Poised to Test 7,200 Level After Eid Holiday Break, Check Recommended Stocks for Tomorrow - Market
Bisnis.com, JAKARTA — The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is predicted to move variably with a tendency towards limited strengthening on Wednesday (25/3/2026) when the market resumes full operations after the long Eid al-Fitr holiday. As is known, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed trading during the period of 18–24 March 2026 for the national holiday and collective leave for Nyepi Day and Eid 2026. The momentum of the market’s return is expected to be coloured by investors’ portfolio adjustments. The MNC Sekuritas Research Team noted that before the long holiday, the JCI had strengthened by 1.20% to the level of 7,106, accompanied by the emergence of significant buying volume. Technically, the nearest strengthening area at the level of 7,115 has been reached, so the composite index is now projected to target the next resistance. MNC Sekuritas also estimates that the JCI position is still in the wave (v) of wave [c] of wave A on the black label or wave (2) on the red label. “There is a possibility that the JCI will continue its correction to the range of 6,745 – 6,887. Meanwhile, the next nearest strengthening area is at 7,176 – 7,238,” states the MNC Sekuritas research publication quoted on Tuesday (24/3/2026). Currently, the MNC research team states that the JCI’s strong support level is at 6,991 and 6,843, while the resistance level is set at 7,156 and 7,239.
