Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors conducted massive sell-offs amounting to Rp5 trillion, coinciding with a correction in the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) of up to 3% during the first trading session on Friday (24/4/2026). Meanwhile, total purchases reached Rp3.0 trillion, leading to a net foreign sell-through of Rp2 trillion.

According to Indo Premier data, the intense selling pressure from foreign investors primarily occurred in big-cap stocks. The largest selling pressure was on PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA), which recorded a net sell of Rp1.3 trillion. In addition, foreigners offloaded PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BBRI) by Rp287.5 billion and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. (BMRI) by Rp192.4 billion.

Besides the banking sector, foreigners also sold shares in PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (TLKM), PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (MEDC), PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk. (ENRG), as well as energy stocks like PT Petrosea Tbk. (PTRO) and PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. (ADRO).

On the buying side, the stocks most accumulated by foreigners were PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk. (CUAN) at Rp35.2 billion, followed by PT Darma Henwa Tbk. (DEWA) at Rp33.1 billion and PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk. (BULL) at Rp23.9 billion.
