Several stocks were observed to have plummeted significantly during trading on Wednesday (3/6/2026), in line with the heavy pressure once again hitting the domestic stock market. The Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) was seen to undergo a sharp correction during midday trading. As of 11:16 WIB, the IHSG sank 4.22% to the 5,933 level, losing approximately 262 points. Selling pressure appeared widespread across many stocks, with several issuers entering the top loser list after corrections approaching the automatic rejection lower (ARB) limit.

Based on top loser data from Stockbit, PT Intermedia Capital Tbk (MDIA) led the list of stocks with the deepest correction. MDIA shares plunged 15% to a level of 68 per share, with a transaction value reaching Rp8.26 billion. In addition to MDIA, pressure was also evident in the shares of PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR). The shares of the Bakrie Group conglomerate fell 14.96% to a position of 108 per share, with a substantial transaction value reaching Rp107.01 billion.

The decline in PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) shares was equally notable. The copper and gold mining issuer’s shares tumbled 14.91% to the 3,310 level per share, with a transaction value of Rp808.96 billion. The correction in AMMN occurred after the stock had previously drawn market attention due to its removal from the MSCI constituents list during the May 2026 rebalancing, alongside five other stocks. This pressure made AMMN one of the large-cap stocks contributing additional weight to the movement of the IHSG. Given this deep correction in the IHSG, market participants appear to be opting to exit risky assets. Pressure is not only occurring in second and third-tier stocks but is also spreading to large-cap stocks, with transaction values reaching hundreds of billions of rupiah.
