JCI Opens Up 0.2% to 7,003.45

The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened higher at the start of trading today, Tuesday (7 April 2026). According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) around 09:04 WIB, the JCI rose 14.02 points or 0.2% to the level of 7,003.45. The JCI opened today at the position of 7,001.28, higher compared to the previous close at the level of 6,989.43. Throughout the early trading session, the index moved in the range of 6,995.78 to 7,015.90. A total of 324 stocks strengthened, 163 stocks weakened, and 471 stocks remained unchanged. This composition shows that the majority of stocks are in the green zone and are driving the index’s strengthening. On the other hand, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) strengthened 0.07% to the position of 476.81, while the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) strengthened 0.47% to 250.96.
