JCI Opens in Green Territory, Up 1.31% to 7,140.44
The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened stronger at the start of trading today, Wednesday (1/4/2026). According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) around 09:03 WIB, the JCI rose 92.22 points or 1.31% to the level of 7,140.44. The JCI opened at the position of 7,149.25, higher compared to the previous close at 7,048.22. Throughout the early trading session, the index moved in the range of 7,136.25 to 7,158.76. Trading frequency was recorded at 99,340 transactions. Market capitalisation was in the range of Rp12,576 trillion. A total of 427 stocks strengthened, 117 stocks weakened, and 414 stocks remained unchanged. This composition shows that the majority of stocks are in the green zone and are driving the index’s strengthening. KOMPAS100 also rose 1.63% to 987.72. The Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) strengthened 1% to 253.60. IDX30 strengthened 1.61% to 394.81. Technically, the JCI today shows rebound momentum at the start of trading.
