JCI Nearly Breaches 7,500 in Morning Session, Check Out the 3 Top-Gaining Stocks in the LQ45 Index

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) soared, nearly reaching the 7,500 level during the first trading session on Monday, 13 April 2026. The JCI strengthened by 0.46 per cent or 34.24 points to 7,492.73.

Based on observations from Stockbit, the JCI opened relatively lower at 7,358. It then rebounded gradually, reaching an intraday high of 7,492, followed by fluctuating movements but returning to its peak by the end of the morning session.

The basic materials sector led the gains with a 2.53 per cent increase, followed by the energy sector surging 2.40 per cent and the industrial consumer sector rising 1.88 per cent. Significant jumps were also recorded in the cyclical consumer sector at 1.68 per cent, infrastructure at 0.60 per cent, technology at 0.47 per cent, non-cyclical consumer at 0.41 per cent, and property at 0.33 per cent.

As the JCI gained strength, several stock sectors experienced corrections. The financial sector declined by 0.75 per cent, transportation weakened by 0.30 per cent, and healthcare shrank by 0.29 per cent.

The Phintraco Sekuritas analysis team assessed that, technically, the positive histogram formation on the MACD continues. Meanwhile, the Stochastic RSI indicator is in the overbought area.

“We expect the JCI to potentially continue its strengthening to retest the 7,500 level in the afternoon trading session,” stated the Phintraco Sekuritas analysis team, as quoted from their daily research on Monday, 13 April 2026.

Phintraco Sekuritas also reported the emitters recording the highest price jumps (top gainers) in the elite LQ45 stocks as follows.

Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT)

BRPT shares soared by double digits, 15.40 per cent or 295 points to 2,210.

PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC)

MEDC shares followed with a surge of 5.79 per cent or 90 points to 1,645.

Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK)

EMTK shares strengthened by 4.57 per cent or 40 points to 915.
