JCI Falls 0.78%, Foreign Investors Spotted Scooping Up These Shares
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors still recorded a net sell of Rp111.6 billion across the entire market on Thursday’s trading (18/6/2026). Nevertheless, a number of shares managed to record significant net buy values from foreign investors.
Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), shares of PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (EMAS) were the primary target of foreign investors, with a net buy value reaching Rp789.4 billion. This value far exceeded other shares on the day’s top net buy list.
In the next position was PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) with a net buy of Rp150.9 billion, followed by PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) at Rp106.9 billion and PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) worth Rp82.6 billion.
Meanwhile, foreign investors also snapped up several other shares such as PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), PT Timah Tbk (TINS), and PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO).
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed down 0.78% at the level of 6,172.34. A total of 445 shares weakened, 271 shares strengthened, and 243 shares were stagnant. The transaction value reached Rp17.86 trillion with a market capitalisation of Rp10,740 trillion.
