JCI Drops 3.76 Per Cent, DSSA, TPIA, and AMMN Hit Auto Rejection Lower Limit
JAKARTA — The Indonesia Composite Index (IHSG) closed significantly weaker at the end of the first trading session on Monday (18/05/2026). The index plummeted 3.76 per cent to the level of 6,470.
Selling pressure hit the majority of stocks on the exchange, particularly several large-cap equities. Shares of PT Dian Swastatlantika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) plunged 15 per cent, PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) fell 14.9 per cent, and PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) also dropped 14.9 per cent.
According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), DSSA shares collapsed by 14.98 per cent, or a drop of 155 points to the level of Rp 880, immediately locking into the auto rejection bawah (ARB) zone. DSSA shares opened at Rp 945 and briefly reached the same high before eventually falling to its lowest point at the ARB limit of Rp 880. The transaction value for DSSA reached Rp 102.99 billion with a trading volume of approximately 1.17 million lots.
The petrochemical issuer’s shares also fell 14.88 per cent, or a 640-point decline, to the position of Rp 3,660. These shares opened at Rp 3,700 and briefly touched a high of Rp 3,790 before being dragged to the ARB limit of 3,660. The transaction value for TPIA shares was Rp 175.49 billion with a volume of 475,710 lots.
AMMN shares opened at Rp 3,580 and moved within a high area of Rp 3,590 before hitting the ARB level of Rp 3,150. The transaction value for AMMN reached Rp 325.06 billion with a trading volume of approximately 1.01 million lots. In addition to the stocks locked in the ARB zone, significant pressure was also observed in MDKA shares.
