The Indonesia Composite Index (JCI) corrected during the first trading session on Thursday (10/09/2026). The JCI fell by 9.68 points or 0.14% to the level of 6,668.52.

The JCI initially moved higher at the start of trading, breaking through the 6,700 level. However, selling pressure subsequently drove the index back into the red zone. At the opening, the JCI stood at 6,688.18 and briefly touched a high of 6,712.50.

Meanwhile, the lowest level of the JCI during session 1 was 6,655.41. Data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange shows that the value of stock transactions reached Rp11.52 trillion, with a volume of 22.52 billion shares and a frequency of 1.47 million transactions.

It was recorded that 284 stocks strengthened, 354 stocks weakened, and 325 others remained stagnant. This condition indicates that selling pressure was more dominant during the first session of trading.

Sectoral movements also tended to be diverse. The utilities sector was the largest gainer with an increase of 1.95%, followed by property at 0.37%.

Conversely, the healthcare sector was the main drag on the JCI with a correction of 1.51%. The financial sector also declined by 0.65%, followed by industrials at -0.27% and technology at -0.01%.

Among the stocks driving the index, PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN) was the largest supporter, contributing 3.83 points, followed by MNC Tourism Indonesia (KPIG) with 3.21 points and United Tractors (UNTR) with 2.99 points.

Barito Renewables Energy (BREN) contributed 2.88 points, while Aneka Tambang (ANTM) provided a contribution of 2.05 points to the JCI.

On the other hand, the greatest pressure came from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), which reduced the JCI by 7.76 points. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) was the next weight, down 7.04 points, followed by Bayan Resources (BYAN) by 6.50 points.

AMMAN Mineral Internasional (AMMN) also acted as a drag with a negative contribution of 3.14 points, while VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR) reduced the index by 2.62 points.
