JCI Closes Up 2.34% at 7,675.95 Today
The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed in positive territory during today’s trading on Tuesday (14/3/2023). The JCI strengthened by 175.76 points or 2.34% to the level of 7,675.95. Throughout the trading session, the JCI moved within the range of 7,592.74 to 7,868.36, with an opening level at 7,500.19. According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the share trading volume reached 49.90 billion shares, with a trading frequency of 3.060 million times. The movement of stocks at the close of trading today was dominated by gains. It was recorded that 570 stocks strengthened, 163 stocks weakened, and 226 were stagnant. The local indices also turned green. The LQ45 closed up 2.41% or 17.96 points to the level of 764.32, while the KOMPAS100 rose 2.43% to the position of 1,062.57. The highest strengthening was experienced by the infrastructure sector, which rose 5.62% to the level of 2,206.11. This was followed by the industrial sector, which strengthened 4.47% to the level of 2,121.82. Strengthening also occurred in the non-cyclical sector, which rose 1.50% to the position of 762.95, and the financial sector strengthened 1.12% to the position of 1,410.68. The transportation sector also rose 3.20% to the level of 1,944.81, and the industrial sector strengthened 4.47% to the position of 2,121.82.
